We are well aware that the needs of each group of teachers differ greatly. We therefore take this into account when we design each course, ensuring that we offer the right balance of language and methodology on our English courses for teachers here in England.
Methodology is approached as ‘learning by doing’ with all lessons, rather than just presenting and discussing techniques. Not only is this a more fun and interactive way of learning, but teachers are also able to see the real benefits of classroom activities as well as the challenges they may provide. We insist on teaching modern natural usage and idiom, so there is no language wastage. We also aim to provide each group with as many lessons as they can use in their particular teaching environments as possible.
 While studying on our courses, you can expect to:
- become familiar with modern usage
- gain practical techniques which can be adapted to different teaching environments
- brush up on existing teaching techniques and skills
- learn about modern British culture and current affairs
- Socialise and exchange ideas with other teachers
