English Plus Courses
Study English for 15 or 25 hours a week
Combine your studies with sports and cultural activities after class during the mornings or evenings
The English Programme
You can study English for 15 or 25 hours per week. You will cover all areas of English, including speaking, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary. Studying on one of our English courses in Kent will help you to understand native speakers and practise the language you learn. All levels use a course book and a variety of extra materials and resources.
Sports activities
You can choose to combine your English course with any of the following sports activities. Fees for the activities will depend on the number of hours you require and if you require a private coach or to be accompanied or not:
- Tennis at a private tennis club.
- Golf at a wonderful local golf club with panaramic views of the sea.
- Fencing at a local fencing club.
- Sailing with a private instructor.
- Fishing with a local fisherman.
Cultural activities
We can combine your English course with any number of cultural activities that you might be interested in. Fees for these activities will depend the number of trips and activities you wish to take, transport and entrance fees and whether you wish to be accompanied by a guide or a local person with similar interests. Ideas for cultural activities, which can be combined if you wish, are:
- Historical buildings and sites.
- Horticulture, gardens and flower festivals.
- Discover the countryside on countryside walks.
- Vineyards and breweries – visit some of Kent’s most famous vineyards and breweries. Discover the delights of local wine, cider and beer.
- Traditional British pubs and culinary delights. Visit some traditional pubs that serve delicious local food.
- Cookery courses. Learn how to cook traditional English food with a local cook.
The course fees and details are below. Please note that the fees do include your sport or cultural programme. The total fee will depend on your individual requirements. Thank you.
